Lightly
grease a flat baking dish, clean countertop, or use silicone molds.

a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, Kool-Aid powder, and salt. Stir to mix well.
3.
Bring
the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Let simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
4.
Sprinkle
gelatin slowly into the hot mixture while stirring continuously to avoid clumping.
5.
Add
vanilla extract and mix until smooth and glossy.
6.
Let
the mixture cool for 10 minutes. Pour into prepared molds or surface and shape into ropes using a spatula.
7.
Allow
to set at room temperature for 1 hour until firm. Cut into desired lengths.
8.
Optional: Roll in granulated sugar for a sweet coating. Enjoy or store for later use.
