- All-purpose flour: 1/2 cup
- Cornstarch: 1/4 cup
- Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Step 2: Place the green beans in the bowl with the flour mixture and toss to coat them thoroughly. Make sure all green beans are covered.
- Step 3: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering hot.
- Step 4: Carefully add the coated green beans to the hot oil in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

- Step 6: Remove the fried green beans from the skillet with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve immediately.
Notes

- Reheat fried green beans in a preheated air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 2-3 minutes to restore some crispness.
- Serve these crispy green beans as a fun and flavorful side dish alongside grilled meats or as a topping for salads.
