Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs Salmon fillet, skin on or off
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Texas Roadhouse seasoning (or substitute with a blend of salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper)
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp Butter, divided
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, Texas Roadhouse seasoning, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.
- Step 3: Place the salmon fillet in a baking dish. Pour the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon, ensuring it's coated on all sides.
- Step 4: Dot the top of the salmon with 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Step 5: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. During the last 2-3 minutes of baking, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the top of the salmon.
- Step 6: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in a microwave or oven to avoid drying out the delicate salmon.
- Serve this flavorful salmon with roasted asparagus and creamy mashed potatoes for a complete Texas-style meal.
- For extra crispy skin (if using skin-on salmon), broil the salmon for the last minute of cooking.
