Ingredients
- Ramen noodles (dried): 2 packages
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Sriracha sauce: 1-2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger: 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
- Green onions: 2, chopped
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the ramen noodles according to package directions, but slightly undercook them as they will continue to cook in the sauce. Drain well and set aside.
- Step 2: While the noodles are cooking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Step 3: Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Step 4: Add the cooked and drained ramen noodles to the skillet and pour the sauce over them. Toss to coat the noodles evenly.
- Step 5: Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the noodles are heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Step 6: Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
- For best flavor, store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days.
- When reheating, add a splash of water or broth to the noodles to prevent them from drying out and sticking together.
- These noodles pair wonderfully with a fried egg on top for added richness and protein.
- Don't overcook the garlic in the sesame oil, as it can become bitter; add the noodles shortly after adding the sauce.
