Ingredients
- Graham cracker crumbs: 1 1/2 cups
- Unsalted butter, melted: 6 tablespoons
- Granulated sugar: 1/4 cup
- Milk chocolate chips: 1 1/2 cups
- Marshmallow creme: 7 ounces
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips: 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil: 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Step 3: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden. Let cool slightly.
- Step 4: Sprinkle milk chocolate chips over the warm crust. Spread marshmallow creme evenly over the chocolate chips.
- Step 5: In a microwave safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the marshmallow creme.
- Step 6: Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares. Lift the bars out using the parchment paper overhang.
Notes
- For easier cutting, chill the s'more bars in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes after they've cooled.
- Store leftover s'more bars in an airtight container at room temperature to keep the graham cracker crust crisp.
- If you want a warm, gooey treat, microwave individual s'more bar squares for about 10-15 seconds.
- Don't overbake the crust; a slightly underbaked crust is better than a hard one as it firms up while cooling.
