- 1 package (3 ounces) ramen noodles, seasoning packet reserved
- 1/2 cup cooked ramen chicken or pork (optional)
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup cooked shiitake mushrooms (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Crush ramen noodles into a bowl, discarding the flavor packet for now.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the reserved seasoning packet, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly.
- Step 3: Spread pizza sauce thinly over a small pizza pan or baking sheet. Sprinkle half of the crushed ramen noodles over the sauce to create a crust.
- Step 4: Top the ramen crust with cooked chicken or pork (if using), shiitake mushrooms (if using), and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the remaining crushed ramen noodles over the cheese.
- Step 5: Drizzle the seasoning mixture evenly over the pizza.
- Step 6: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the ramen is slightly crispy. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover Ramen Pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For reheating, microwave for 30-60 seconds, or until heated through, adding a few drops of water to prevent dryness.
- Serve this unique pizza alongside a side of edamame or a light Asian slaw for a complete meal.
- To enhance the crispy crust, lightly brush the bottom of the ramen crust with a little cooking oil before adding the pizza sauce.
