Delicious parmesan garlic turkey bacon cheeseburger lasagna recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Ground turkey: 1 pound
  • Turkey bacon: 8 slices
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Onion: 1/2, chopped
  • Marinara sauce: 24 ounces
  • Lasagna noodles: 9 oven-ready noodles
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese: 2 cups
  • Grated parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Step 2: Add minced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, until softened. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Step 3: While the sauce simmers, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Crumble the bacon and set aside.
  4. Step 4: In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce. Place 3 lasagna noodles on top. Spread another layer of meat sauce, sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese, 1/3 of the parmesan cheese, and 1/3 of the crumbled turkey bacon. Repeat layers twice more, ending with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  5. Step 5: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For easier slicing, let the lasagna cool for at least 15 minutes after baking; it will also prevent burning your mouth!
  • Store leftover lasagna in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to maintain its deliciousness.
  • Reheat individual slices in the microwave or bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
  • Don't be afraid to add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meat sauce for a little extra kick!
