Delicious million dollar lasagna — a rich and creamy layered delight! recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Ground beef: 1 pound
  • Lasagna noodles: 1 box (oven-ready preferred)
  • Ricotta cheese: 15 ounces
  • Cream cheese: 8 ounces, softened
  • Mozzarella cheese: 2 cups, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
  • Heavy cream: 1/2 cup
  • Marinara sauce: 24 ounces

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease and stir in half of the marinara sauce. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, cream cheese, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Step 3: Spread a thin layer of the remaining marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Step 4: Layer lasagna noodles, then half of the meat sauce, then half of the cheese mixture, and then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers again.
  5. Step 5: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the lasagna is heated through.

Notes

  • For easier slicing, let the lasagna rest for at least 15 minutes after baking before serving.
  • Store leftover lasagna in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat individual slices in the microwave or bake in a preheated oven until warmed through.
  • To prevent the top from browning too quickly, broil for the last few minutes of baking.
