Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the bars out later.
  2. Step 2: Make the crust: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
