Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup peach preserves
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hot sauce (your preferred level of heat)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Ensure wings are evenly coated.
- Step 3: Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, then flip wings and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy.
- Step 4: While wings are baking, prepare the hot honey peach glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine peach preserves, honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened (about 5-7 minutes).
- Step 5: Once wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot honey peach glaze over them. Toss gently to coat all wings evenly.
- Step 6: Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
- Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat leftover wings in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through and the glaze is bubbly.
- Serve these wings with a side of creamy coleslaw to balance the sweet heat.
- For extra crispy wings, try patting them dry with paper towels before tossing with the oil and spices.
