- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Step 2: Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the honey BBQ sauce. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Step 3: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 4: Arrange the marinated chicken strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

- Step 6: Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite sides, such as coleslaw or potato salad.
Notes
- Store leftover chicken strips in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in a microwave or air fryer to avoid drying out the chicken and maintain the sauce's delicious texture.
- Serve these honey BBQ chicken strips on slider buns with your favorite coleslaw for a fun and easy weeknight meal.
- For extra smoky flavor, add a pinch of liquid smoke to the marinade before adding the chicken.
