Delicious grilled garlic parmesan chicken skewers: a delicious and easy recipe for your next bbq recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Step 2: Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Step 3: Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
  4. Step 4: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Step 5: Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Store leftover skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat leftover skewers in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through, or quickly grill them for a minute per side to refresh.
  • Serve these skewers with a vibrant summer salad and grilled corn on the cob for a complete and satisfying BBQ meal.
  • For extra garlicky goodness, lightly brush the chicken with extra minced garlic before grilling.
