- 2 tablespoons Fig jam
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped Walnuts (or pecans)
- 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- Crusty bread or crackers, for serving
- Fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the brie wheel in a small oven-safe dish or skillet.
- Step 2: Spread the fig jam evenly over the top of the brie.
- Step 3: Drizzle the honey over the fig jam and then sprinkle with the chopped walnuts and fresh thyme leaves.
- Step 4: Drizzle the olive oil over the top.
- Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey.
- Step 6: Remove from oven and garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig, if desired. Serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers for dipping.
Notes
- Refrigerate leftovers promptly and enjoy within 2-3 days, knowing the brie will firm up again.
- For a quick reheat, microwave in 15-second intervals until gooey, but watch it closely to avoid melting too much!
- Elevate your presentation by serving with apple slices or pear wedges alongside the traditional bread or crackers.
- Don't be shy with the fig jam – a generous layer ensures every bite is a sweet and savory delight!
