Ingredients
- Ground Beef: 1.5 pounds
- Garlic: 10 cloves, minced
- Garlic Powder: 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire Sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Breadcrumbs: 1/4 cup
- Egg: 1 large
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed, but avoid overmixing.
- Step 2: Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from bulging while cooking.
- Step 3: Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a tablespoon of olive oil or your preferred cooking oil.
- Step 4: Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness, or longer if you prefer them well-done.
- Step 5: Serve the Garlic Overload Burgers on your favorite buns with your choice of toppings.
Notes
- For best flavor, store leftover cooked patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat cooked patties gently in a skillet with a little butter or oil to keep them moist and delicious.
- These burgers are fantastic with caramelized onions and a creamy garlic aioli to really amp up the garlic flavor!
- Don't overmix the beef mixture, as this can make the burgers tough; gently combine the ingredients just until they're evenly distributed.
