Ingredients
- Salmon fillets, skin on or off: 2 (6-ounce) fillets
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped: 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps to ensure a crispy exterior.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Step 4: Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Step 5: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. If necessary, cook in batches.
- Step 6: Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets and your air fryer model. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- To reheat, gently air fry for 2-3 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to prevent it from drying out.
- Serve this salmon over a bed of quinoa or rice with a side of roasted asparagus for a complete and healthy meal.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika to the spice mixture before brushing it on the salmon.
