Delicious dubai chocolate balls with pistachio recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Medjool Dates: 250g, pitted
  • Digestive Biscuits: 150g, crushed
  • Unsalted Butter: 50g, melted
  • Cocoa Powder: 2 tablespoons
  • Pistachios: 100g, finely chopped
  • Condensed Milk: 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pinch of Salt: 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a food processor, combine the pitted dates and crushed digestive biscuits. Process until the mixture forms a sticky paste.
  2. Step 2: Add the melted butter, cocoa powder, condensed milk, cardamom powder and salt to the date mixture. Process again until everything is well combined.
  3. Step 3: Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Using your hands, form small balls about 1-inch in diameter.
  4. Step 4: Place the finely chopped pistachios in a shallow dish. Roll each date ball in the pistachios, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Step 5: Arrange the pistachio-coated date balls on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • Store these delectable treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week to maintain their firm texture.
  • If the balls become too firm after refrigeration, let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly before serving.
  • Present these Dubai Chocolate Balls with Pistachio as an elegant dessert alongside a cup of Arabic coffee or mint tea.
  • For a richer chocolate flavour, try using dark cocoa powder and a pinch of espresso powder in the mixture; the coffee enhances the chocolate beautifully!
