- Medjool Dates: 250g, pitted
- Digestive Biscuits: 150g, crushed
- Unsalted Butter: 50g, melted
- Cocoa Powder: 2 tablespoons
- Pistachios: 100g, finely chopped
- Condensed Milk: 2 tablespoons
- Cardamom Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Pinch of Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: In a food processor, combine the pitted dates and crushed digestive biscuits. Process until the mixture forms a sticky paste.
- Step 2: Add the melted butter, cocoa powder, condensed milk, cardamom powder and salt to the date mixture. Process again until everything is well combined.
- Step 3: Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Using your hands, form small balls about 1-inch in diameter.
- Step 4: Place the finely chopped pistachios in a shallow dish. Roll each date ball in the pistachios, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Step 5: Arrange the pistachio-coated date balls on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper.
- Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up before serving.
