Ingredients
- Crescent roll dough sheet (or 1 can crescent rolls)
- Pizza sauce: 1/2 cup
- Shredded mozzarella cheese: 1 cup
- Pepperoni slices: 1/2 cup (or more to taste)
- Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Grated Parmesan cheese: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
- Step 2: Unroll the crescent roll dough sheet (or unroll crescent rolls and pinch seams together to form a solid sheet) on a lightly floured surface.
- Step 3: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough sheet, leaving a small border.
- Step 4: Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, then top with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
- Step 5: Cut the dough into small squares (or desired shapes). Place the pizza bites onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store cooled pizza bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For best results, reheat in a preheated oven or toaster oven to regain crispness.
- Serve these pizza bites warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
- Don't overload the dough with toppings, as it can make the bites soggy.
