Delicious banana pudding cups recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Vanilla Wafers: 1 (12-ounce) box
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix: 1 (3.4-ounce) package
  • Milk: 3 cups, cold
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk: 1 (14-ounce) can
  • Heavy Cream: 1 cup
  • Bananas: 3-4 medium, sliced
  • Whipped Topping: 8 ounces (optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until well combined. Then, whisk in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Step 2: In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
  3. Step 3: In individual serving cups or a trifle dish, layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and the pudding mixture. Repeat layers, ending with pudding.
  4. Step 4: Cover the cups or dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the wafers to soften.
  5. Step 5: Before serving, top with additional whipped topping, vanilla wafers, and banana slices, if desired.

Notes

  • To prevent banana slices from browning, lightly toss them with lemon juice before layering.
  • Store leftover pudding cups in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but the vanilla wafers will soften over time.
  • For a delightful crunch, add a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers on top just before serving.
  • These are best served chilled; no reheating needed, just grab and enjoy!
