Ingredients
- Vanilla Wafers: 1 (12-ounce) box
- Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix: 1 (3.4-ounce) package
- Milk: 3 cups, cold
- Sweetened Condensed Milk: 1 (14-ounce) can
- Heavy Cream: 1 cup
- Bananas: 3-4 medium, sliced
- Whipped Topping: 8 ounces (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until well combined. Then, whisk in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Step 2: In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
- Step 3: In individual serving cups or a trifle dish, layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and the pudding mixture. Repeat layers, ending with pudding.
- Step 4: Cover the cups or dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the wafers to soften.
- Step 5: Before serving, top with additional whipped topping, vanilla wafers, and banana slices, if desired.
Notes
- To prevent banana slices from browning, lightly toss them with lemon juice before layering.
- Store leftover pudding cups in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but the vanilla wafers will soften over time.
- For a delightful crunch, add a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers on top just before serving.
- These are best served chilled; no reheating needed, just grab and enjoy!
