Delicious baked crack chicken breasts: an incredible ultimate recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked crumbled bacon
  • 2 tablespoons milk or chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk/chicken broth, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Step 3: Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  4. Step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Step 5: If desired, sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days for best flavor.
  • For perfectly melty cheese and moist chicken upon reheating, cover with foil and warm in a 350°F oven until heated through.
  • Serve these "Crack Chicken" breasts over rice or mashed potatoes to soak up all that delicious creamy sauce.
  • To prevent dry chicken, consider pounding the breasts to an even thickness before baking to ensure they cook uniformly.
