Delicious 4th of july waffle cones recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (10 oz) frozen waffle cones
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup blue food coloring
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup blueberries

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the whipped cream by beating heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until stiff peaks form. Divide the whipped cream in half.
  2. Step 2: Add red food coloring to one half of the whipped cream and beat until evenly incorporated. Add blue food coloring to the other half and beat until evenly incorporated.
  3. Step 3: Carefully fill each waffle cone about halfway with the red whipped cream.
  4. Step 4: Top the red whipped cream with a layer of blueberries.
  5. Step 5: Fill the remaining space in the waffle cones with the blue whipped cream.
  6. Step 6: Garnish each cone with a few fresh strawberries. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftover waffle cones in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For a warm, gooey treat, quickly microwave reheated waffle cones for 10-15 seconds before adding the whipped cream.
  • Elevate your presentation by arranging the filled waffle cones on a star-spangled tablecloth for a festive touch.
  • To prevent the waffle cones from getting soggy, gently fill them with whipped cream instead of piling it on high.
